Friday, February 15thShow– Classical concert pianist Frederic Chiu will present a 7:30 p.m. all-ages show, in the University of Montana Western’s Beier Auditorium. For more information, call 406-683-2432. 

Saturday, February 16th5K– The annual Cupid Shuffle 5K run will happen, starting at 10 a.m. at the BARC building on the University of Montana Western campus.  For more information on this fundraiser for the UMW and BCHS cross country and track programs, email biverson@bchsmt.com or Dylan.zitzer@umwestern.edu.

Saturday, March 2ndDinner Party– The Dillon VFW and VFW Auxiliary will hold remembering M*A*S*H 4077 in the Elks Lodge. The celebration for fans of the long-running TV show about a Mobil Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War will include a silent auction, 5 p.m. reveille, 6 p.m. opening of chow hall and 8 p.m. judging of the costume contest. 

Saturday, March 2ndJVFD– The Jackson Volunteer Fire Department will hold is 2019 Fireman’s Ball at the Jackson Volunteer Fire Hall, where the live music will be provided by Fast Forward and dinner will be served 5-7 p.m. The event will also include live and silent auctions, with all proceeds going to benefit JVFD. Saturday, March 9thFeed– The Southern Montana Shrine Club’s annual Oyster Feed will take place, starting at 4 p.m. in the Dillon Elks Lodge.  The event will include a live and silent auction, as well as oysters, turkey, beef, ham and all the trimmings.  Tickets are available in advance at The Klondike, Thomas Co. Jewelers, Mac’s Last Cast, 3-D, Dillon Liquor Store and NV Salon.  

 

 

 

Little League Registration Open– Visit www.BeaverheadLittleLeague.org to learn about baseball and softball opportunities for boys and girls ages 4-15.  Online registration continues until March 1, payments accepted online or by check, scholarships available. The season will begin April 1st.

Feb. 15th – The Not So Newlywed Game at the Elks Lodge.  6:30 p.m. no host cocktail hour – game at 7:30 p.m.

Feb. 16th – Bingo at the Elks Lodge.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. – bingo at 7:00 p.m.

Feb 18th – Presidents’ Day – Pioneer Federal will be closed today.
