Dillon’s Upcoming Community Events 

January 18th-March 10th- Kids Sports Camps Rookie Sports Camp will provide kiddos aged 3-6 introductions to basketball, soccer, t-ball, football and track & field, during 75-minute sessions on Mondays and Wednesday’s from January 18th to March 10th at the Southwestern Montana Family YMCA, 75 Swenson Way in Dillon. Thursday, January 26th- Trails Group Meets The Beaverhead Trails Coalition will hold its annual meeting on January 26th in the conference room of the Sherriff’s Annex of the Beaverhead County Courthouse in Dillon. The get-together will get followed by a board of directors meeting at which the election of officers takes place. For more information, email beaverheadtrails@gmail.com.

  • Parents Fun Parents Night Out will offer a Friday evening of fun and relaxation on January 27th at the Southwestern Montana Family YMCA, where kids can join their friends in play activities and swimming from 6:00-9:00 PM while their parents enjoy some free time.   • Women’s Fundraiser A chapter of the Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO) will hold its tenth annual fundraiser to raise money for women in education on January 27th, in the Lewis & Clark Room of Matthews Hall on the University of Montana Western campus in Dillon. The semi-formal event will include cocktails, dinner, an auction and more. To reserve a spot, call (406)-683-5343 by Friday, January 20th.

Saturday, January 28th- Weightlifting Event An Olympic Weightlifting Meet featuring local competitors will happen from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on January 28th at Topo Fitness, 920 N Montana St in Dillon. For more information, call (501)-283-3349.
