Dillon’s Upcoming Community Events  

Tuesday, March 19th- JC Park Gala and Auction- The Friends of the Jaycee Park will hold “Fund in the Sun,” this year’s gala and auction to support improvements and maintenance at the family friendly facility. The event will be held at the UMW Lewis & Clark Room, starting at 5:30pm on Tuesday, March 19th. For more information, call (406)-683-8983 or (406)-683-4903. 

Wednesday, March 20th- Rotary Hosts Speaker- On Wednesday, March 20th at noon, the guest speaker for the Rotary Club will be Rebecca Jones, Executive Director, Beaverhead Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture and Dillon Visitor Center. Rebecca will be speaking about the importance of tourism for Beaverhead County and share visitor statistics from the last two years. The Rotary now meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at noon. The group gathers at St. James Guild Hall on Glendale Street. 

Friday, March 22nd- KC Lenten Fish Fry- Dillon Knights of Columbus will host only 1 Fish Fry this Lenten season at the Frontier Event Center on Friday, March 22nd, from 5:30pm-7:00pm. All proceeds will go to the renovation of the kitchen at St. Rose of Lima Family Center. The menu will consist of fried and baked cod, baked potato, baked beans, coleslaw, fruit cocktail and dessert and beverages. For more information, contact Rick Parke, (406)-660-1111. 

Saturday, March 23rd- DCA Features Sinta Quartet- The Sinta Quartet will play the Beaverhead Country High School Auditorium on Saturday, March 23rd, at 7:30pm. This saxophone ensemble will perform for the Dillon Concert Association’s 2023-2024 Concert Series. Tuesday, March 26th- UMW Spring Career Fair- The UMW Career Services Office invites all interested employers and UMW students to the 2024 Career Fair on Tuesday, March 26th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the Lewis & Clark Room located in Mathews Hall. March 22nd – Deer Lodge Medical Center Ladies’ Night Out at the Elks at 5 pm.  Guest speaker will be Oncologist Dr. Zachary Reese will be talking about Community Based Cancer Treatment.

April 12th – Big Sky Draft Horse Expo Fundraising Dinner at the Elks.  Cocktails 5 pm; dinner at 6:30. Music by John Montoya.  Live and silent auction & door prizes.

April 20th – Discover Deer Lodge Black Tie Dinner at St. Mary’s Center at 5:30
